Train essentials: snacks!
1 year ago on one of my train rides, I learnt a very serious lesson: it’s no fun being hungry on a train…
I was naive then, and decided to board my 12-hour train ride without any food. I had missed the in-train food service, and was waiting for the ‘food man’ to reappear, but to no avail. Thankfully, a nice family offered me some biscuits and I managed to stop my stomach from growling.
This time, on my train ride, I stocked up on some snacks, and even shared some with my fellow passengers!
I especially love the roasted namkeen (still don’t know what namkeens are!) treat I bought, it’s so flavourful and definitely feels healthy. The mini-samosa was recommended by a friend, and it’s kinda getting addictive!
